Can a startup improve public health?
Because digital health is not just about sensors, wearables, or apps.
Digital health starts with something more fundamental: how we connect with people, how we build sustainable habits, how we design learning experiences that truly stick.
HEWEGO has been selected to join the Digital Health Node of RETECH Madrid, and we see it as a great opportunity to keep doing what we do best:
- Translating scientific evidence into clear language.
- Turning knowledge into small, actionable steps.
- Designing personalized, realistic… and human wellbeing journeys.
What matters is not the digital part — it’s what you do with it.
In the opening session, chaired by Miguel López-Valverde, the Regional Minister for Digitalization of the Community of Madrid, there was talk about opportunities, collaboration, and how to create impact through open innovation.
We’d like to add one more thought:
Digital health is not an end — it’s a means.
A means for more people to access tools that help them take better care of themselves.
A means for healthcare professionals to find allies who help them support without feeling overwhelmed.
A means for behavior change — those tough, lasting shifts — to find just the right push at just the right time.

What comes next?
Collaborate. Listen. Co-create.
At HEWEGO, we bring to the table our experience designing health content for hospitals, insurance companies, and large organizations.
But above all, we bring our conviction that big changes start with small decisions.
And this decision —joining RETECH Madrid— is one of them.
